Vintage Napco Lusterware Teacup & Saucer Set (Pattern 1DD183) This authentic two-piece vintage porcelain tea set is a stunning example of mid-century kitchenware imported from post-WWII Japan. Produced by the National Potteries Corporation (NAPCO) of Bedford, Ohio, this collectible duo features a classic 1950s romantic rose motif and an eye-catching iridescent finish: * The Teacup (Pattern 1DD183): A multi-fluted, dainty cup adorned with delicate hand-painted pink cabbage roses. The cup is elevated by three distinctive tripod feet heavily accented in gold gilt and finished with a matching ornate, angular gold handle. The base prominently features the authentic green Original Napco China, Hand Painted crown stamp alongside the official pattern number 1DD183. * The Saucer: Coordinated perfectly with the cup, the dish features a matching mother-of-pearl lusterware finish and rose bouquets. The highlight is its striking reticulated (pierced lattice) border trimmed with a scalloped, heavily gilded rim. Condition & Collector Notes * Era: 1950s * Origin: Made in Japan * Material: Fine Porcelain / Lusterware Glaze * Care Tip: To preserve the fragile gold gilt and iridescent sheen, this vintage set should always be hand-washed with mild soap—never placed in a dishwasher or microwave.
