Rigoutat Oboe RIEC JDR - As-Is / Needs Adjustment, Leaks Original Price: ¥1,100,000 - Mid to High Grade This is a Rigoutat RIEC JDR oboe from the prestigious Rigoutat company in Paris, France. Founded in 1922, Rigoutat is a brand loved by musicians worldwide, known for its soft, brilliant tone and rich resonance. This RIEC JDR model features: • A tone that combines French warmth and clarity. • Easy playability with moderate resistance and excellent projection. • Versatility for solo, chamber music, and orchestral performances. It is trusted by many professional musicians. New List Price: Approx. ¥1,100,000 Rigoutat oboes have been increasing in price year by year, and the RIEC JDR is an expensive model with a current list price of approximately ¥1,100,000. In terms of price range, its rivals include Yamaha's custom series such as the YOB-831, and Marigaux's Grand Louis and 701 models. Asking Price: ¥190,000 (Sold as-is) This is offered at a special price as it is intended for repair and adjustment. With maintenance and adjustments, you should be able to fully enjoy Rigoutat's characteristic beautiful sound. Product Condition: • This is an older model. While the photos show it in good condition, there are signs of age throughout, including plating wear and dullness. • There are no cracks or critical damage, but repairs are needed for pads, corks, and mechanism adjustments. • The left-hand pinky F key is almost completely stuck. • This is being sold as-is, and adjustment is absolutely necessary for playing. Recommended Points: • Obtain an instrument in the ¥1,100,000 new price class for under ¥200,000. • Ideal for those looking for an instrument with repair in mind, or for experienced players stepping up from entry-level models like the YOB-431. This item is being sold with the understanding that it requires repair and adjustment. We look forward to hearing from buyers who understand this condition. Click here for the manufacturer's site
