This is a DIY part for fixing 2x4 lumber vertically to create posts. If you just want to set up posts, you don't need complicated procedures or special tools. It can be securely fixed using the force of the jack, making it easy to install. Reproduction and plagiarism are prohibited. Adjusters for the upper part only have been available for a while, but I thought about how to make it work for those who don't have a drill or an 8mm drill, and came up with the idea for the lower part. The drill-free type was my invention. DIY Storage Parts Washers have been added between the hexagonal top part and the lumber. This addition provides stability and prevents loosening. Therefore, when assembling the upper part, please insert the washer onto the bolt before inserting it into the hole. Assembly Since we ship disassembled, please insert the washer onto the bolt and lightly tighten it (do not overtighten) as shown in photo 3. Then insert the post, followed by a washer, nut, nut, and washer. Finally, tighten the upper part with the nut. Installation Method ① Cut the 2x4 lumber to be used as a post to a length approximately 80mm shorter than the installation height. ② Screw the lower part of the adjuster to the top of the 2x4 cut in ①. (Photo 4) ③ Insert the threaded side of the upper adjuster into the hole drilled in the post in ②. ④ Once aligned with the installation location, stand it vertically (use a level). You can then tension it by turning the lower nut clockwise with a wrench. 〇 For scratch prevention, sandwich the non-slip sheet between the floor/ceiling and the post/adjuster. Attaching with double-sided tape is easy. Tools Required 〇 13mm wrench or monkey wrench, or other tool to turn the nut 〇 Electric drill, impact driver, or Phillips screwdriver 〇 Saw (You can also have it cut at a home improvement store) 〇 Level (Apps are also available.)
