# Click here for our Hercules Beetle and Stag Beetle product list on Mercari! This listing is for Special Selection! 3rd Fermentation! Himalayan Oyster Mushroom Premium Fermented Mat, packed with nutrients to help your beetle larvae grow to enormous sizes. 80 Liters (10 Liters x 8 Bags) Additional quantities can be arranged. Comes in resealable bags for convenient storage. Please see all 20 photos. This is a fermented substrate mat made from 100% oak sawdust, which Hercules beetles and stag beetles prefer most, and finished with the highest quality Himalayan Oyster Mushroom mycelium. We've further refined the ordinary Himalayan Oyster Mushroom mat into a finer particle size for easier consumption, and added 3 times the usual amount of special amino acids like trehalose, glucose, chitosan, and royal jelly, along with symbiotic bacteria, to create this special premium mat. We use absolutely no discarded substrate, and have meticulously undergone 3 rounds of fermentation over time and at great cost to create this ultimate, carefully crafted mat. Since we ferment new substrate indoors, there is a 100% guarantee of no mixed-in pests. We've been receiving a high rate of repeat customers thanks to the consistently large individuals that hatch from this mat. Even with the same substrate, those finished with Himalayan Oyster Mushroom mycelium are most preferred by stag beetles and Hercules beetles, resulting in larger individuals. Himalayan Oyster Mushrooms are expensive and difficult to obtain. This mat can be used as food for the larvae of all types of domestic and foreign Hercules beetles, as well as for egg-laying. Not only will Hercules and Caucasus beetles grow large, but domestic species will too. Hercules beetles have successfully hatched at 180mm! Many domestic species have hatched at 87mm. The key to raising large adult beetles is to feed the larvae plenty of high-quality food during their larval stage. This high-calorie, nutrient-rich fermented substrate mat is the pinnacle of larval food. 90% repeat customer rate. We are receiving a flood of orders, attracting attention from insect shops and specialist Hercules beetle stores nationwide. We've received excellent reviews stating that it doesn't attract fruit flies, mites, or other pests. The difference in larval feeding means you can aim for super-sized adults. I have over 20 years of experience raising stag beetles and Hercules beetles, and have researched various types of mats. After much trial and error, the 3rd fermentation! Himalayan Oyster Mushroom fermented mat yielded the largest and healthiest growth. When used as an egg-laying substrate, females lay a large number of eggs. Some users of this fermented mat have repeatedly won top prizes in Be-Kuwa contests. We also recommend it for Miyama and Antaeus stag beetles. With 3 times the usual amount of amino acid and other nutritional additives, you can aim for Guinness-class individuals. Separate shipping fees apply for remote islands in Okinawa.
